The only band i would see is Cryptopsy, and i dont know what the hell they were thinking putting a pure TECH-DEATH METAL band on the same bill as the rest of that bollocks. So yeh been to a few gigs recently an that. Corrosion of Conformity on monday was pretty cool the support band "Clutch" were a bit shite tho, they bored the bollocks off me.
Tues night was the VC gig at the well. That went pretty good.
Then there was Bodom last nite at Bradford Rios. Bodom were absolutley incredible live, the support band Ektomorf were a bag of bollocks. Sounded like nu-metal shite to me.

So yeh quality few days and I got the new Edguy cd and Priest dvd in the post this morning like:

So yeh errrrrrrrrr it was the Nevermore gig on friday nite at Bradford Rios which was fuckin amazing. The place looks like a working mens club from the outside, but it was all good when we got in. The 2 support bands before em were fuckin immense aswell. Mercenary from Denmark (Proper kick arse power metal with mental solos) then Dew Scented from Germany (a bit like Metallica before they went shit with better guitar work) who wer fuckin amazing an all. I was stood infront of the rhythm guitarist and the complex stuff he was playing was crazy.

Then onto Nevermore. Even though they were one guitarist down, Jeff Loomis fuckin BLAZED his way through the solos an stuff. Which i fuckin loved \m/
Before the gig started a few of us went to some shitty take-away to get some grub an that.

This is how close we were to the guys in Nevermore (Muchos thanks to Jaz for the pics)

Warrel Dane (Fuckin amazing vocalist)

Jeff Loomis a.k.a SWEEP GOD. Everything about his performance was fuckin spot on. His tone, stage presence, everything. Definetly one of the best players out there.

So yeh probably the best gig ive been to recently. \m/

Well i just thought id update this cos I errrrr havent in a while like y'kno.
Last nite was pretty cool was meant to go to the Roscoe with the Earlster to see Cusic's mate's band but we ended up goin for a few beers to watch the fuckin farse of a football match that was England.

SHITTY MATCH. They would have been miles better with me and Ryan up front, methinks.

So yeh then we hung about wi Lauren and Jemmar in't Drydock and then Fab. Many beers later I got home and fell over in the kitchen knocking all the bastard pots an pans over the floor. So yeh was a good nite. Just looking forward to some quality upcoming gigs includin DF, Nevermore, Corrosion Of Conformity and Arch Enemy.

Thought id update this "thing" seeing as i havent in ages. Went out on friday nite with my "guitar bro" Ben Hope and dibbo. Was pretty good except carpe was fuller than a really "Full thing" or summat but yeh. Last nite played 5 a side football with the staples crew at south Leeds stadium. Was fuckin mental

Was shit cos there was "NO" pissing guinness which is bollocks cos i live off the stuff. hahaha looked a right chav in the ripped trackies and adidas trainers hahaha. Then on the way home i dropped half a foot long subway on the bastard floor which pissed me off so much, so i bought another

Well then yeh errrr saw Judas Priest and The Scorpions at Sheffield arena with Eege last nite. Talk about fucking OWNAGE both bands were awesome. PAIIIIN-KIIIILLLLLEEERR!!! Rob halfords voice was fuckin AWESOME *stares* and KK Downing and Glen Tiptons guitar tone sounded killer. Called sum "ethnic" ugly on the way home an all hahaha. The journey were good too, thanks to eege for making amusing scenarios with pictures and phrases from the sun newspaper hahahaha!!! Well yeh just realised i need to go get sum guitar strings and a pack of beers
